Long Description:
Repeated heavy striking takes a toll on your arm over a day’s work, and a lot of that comes down to the handle rather than the head. This one’s got a hickory shaft, which naturally absorbs more of that shock than synthetic alternatives, so it holds up better through a full day of breaking masonry or driving chisels.
Features & Benefits
- Forged, heat-treated steel head for demanding strikes
- Hickory shaft absorbs shock, easier on the arm over time
- Balanced for controlled, accurate striking
- Comfortable grip, doesn’t slip under repeated use
Specifications
This is a club hammer with a forged, heat-treated high-carbon steel head and a hickory wood shaft, built for masonry, demolition, and metalworking.
Where It’s Used
Comes up on demolition work, bricklaying, breaking concrete, driving cold chisels and stakes — anywhere a controlled, heavy strike is needed rather than a lighter general-purpose hammer.
Fitting
No fitting involved — just check the head’s seated tight on the shaft before use, and periodically after, since a loose head is both a performance issue and a safety one. Comes through the same suppliers as the rest of our building materials range.
