Where It’s Used

Fitting
Clean, flat, dry, stable — get the base right first, since any unevenness underneath still shows through a matte finish over time. Use an adhesive suited to the substrate, work out the layout before you start fixing tiles down, keep spacing even with spacers or a levelling system, cut with proper equipment, and give the adhesive its full cure time before grouting.
