Bathrooms and similar wet rooms can’t have a standard wall switch anywhere near the sink or shower, which is exactly why pull switches exist — mounted on the ceiling, operated by cord, with no exposed switch near water. This one’s rated to 10A and set up for 2-way switching, so it works with a circuit controlled from more than one point where the wiring supports it.
