Long Description:
An L-shaped kitchen layout means two worktops have to meet at a corner, and that joint is only as good as what’s holding it together underneath. Left loose, it tends to open up slightly over time from the weight and use worktops get. This joint clamps the two pieces together from below, so the seam stays tight instead of gradually gapping.
Features & Benefits
- Clamps two worktops together at a corner joint
- Keeps alignment accurate during and after fitting
- Suits L-shaped and corner kitchen layouts
- Works with laminate and wood worktops
Specifications
This is a corner joint fitting for connecting two worktops, designed to clamp them together and hold alignment at the seam. It suits laminate and wood worktops in L-shaped kitchen layouts, residential or commercial.
Where It’s Used
Comes up on any kitchen with an L-shaped or corner worktop run — homes, cafés, restaurants, and office kitchens all use the same fitting wherever two worktops need to meet at 90 degrees.
Fitting
Fitted using standard worktop jointing router cuts, so it needs the right groove routed into each worktop before the joint goes together. Worth double-checking both worktops are cut square before joining, since the connector pulls them tight but won’t correct a badly cut edge. Comes through the same suppliers as the rest of our building materials range.
