Long Description:
Grouting a whole floor or wall by hand with the wrong tool means either not enough grout going into the joint or too much left smeared across the tile face. This float’s rubber base flexes enough to actually push grout down into the joint, then pulls the excess back off cleanly on the return pass, rather than just dragging it around the surface.
Features & Benefits
- Rubber base flexes into tile joints for full coverage
- Pulls excess grout off cleanly rather than smearing it
- Soft-grip handle reduces hand fatigue on bigger jobs
- Works on ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, and natural stone
Specifications
This is a 9-inch grout float with a rubber base and ergonomic soft-grip handle, used for applying and finishing grout on tile installations.
Where It’s Used
Comes up on any grouted tile job — kitchens, bathrooms, commercial flooring — anywhere tiles are being laid and the joints need filling properly rather than just topped up.
Fitting
Work the float at an angle across the joints so it forces grout down rather than just sliding over the top, then a final near-flat pass clears the excess off the tile face. Rinse it out straight after use before grout dries on the rubber base. Comes through the same suppliers as the rest of our building materials range.
