There’s a difference between a tile that just covers a surface and one that’s meant to be the point of the room, and Magic Gold falls into the second category. The gold finish gives it a decorative edge most plain tiles don’t have, which makes it a natural fit for a feature wall or a bathroom that’s meant to feel a bit more considered than functional.
Going large-format at 600 x 1200mm keeps that finish from getting chopped up into a busy pattern of small tiles and joints — instead you get a handful of big panels where the gold detailing can actually read properly. It works on walls and floors both, so the same finish can run continuously through a space rather than stopping at the skirting board.

Where It’s Used
Feature walls are where this one really earns its keep, but it works just as well in bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and living spaces where a bit more character is welcome alongside the usual neutrals.
Fitting
Same care needed here as with any large-format tile — the substrate has to be clean, dry, flat and stable before you start, since prep issues show up more obviously at this size. Use a suitable adhesive, plan the layout ahead of time, and rely on spacers or a levelling system to keep joints consistent. Cut with the right tools, let the adhesive cure properly before grouting, and follow current guidance for the specific tile, adhesive and grout combination.
