Long Description:
A tile edge left bare tends to be the first thing that chips — a knock from a mop bucket, a dropped tool, and there’s a mark right where it shows. This trim sits over that edge with a chrome finish, so it takes the impact and looks like it was meant to be there rather than patched on afterward.
Features & Benefits
- Chrome finish, corrosion-resistant in wet rooms and bathrooms
- Rounded profile, no sharp raw edge exposed
- Holds up to knocks and everyday wear
- Cuts to length with standard tools
Specifications
This is a chrome-finished edge trim with a rounded profile, made for exposed tile edges on walls and floors. It resists corrosion, so it holds up in bathrooms and wet rooms without tarnishing, and it works with ceramic, porcelain, or natural stone tile on external corners and other exposed transitions.
Where It’s Used
Comes up most on bathroom and kitchen tiling, splashbacks, and shower surrounds where you want a bit more finish than a plain white trim gives — chrome tends to get picked for the higher-end jobs. Works the same on new installs and repairs.
Fitting
Cuts to length with the same tools you’d use for the tiling, and goes in as you tile rather than after. Chrome shows scratches more than a matte finish would, so it’s worth being a little more careful handling it during the cut and fit than you would with a standard PVC trim. Comes through the same suppliers as the rest of our building materials range.
