Most flooring needs an expansion gap where it meets another surface — a doorway, a different room, a change in flooring type. Left uncovered, that gap just looks unfinished and tends to collect dirt. This strip sits over it flat, so the transition reads as deliberate rather than a gap someone forgot to deal with.

Specifications
This is a flat profile strip made to cover expansion gaps and joints between adjoining floor surfaces. It sits low enough not to be a trip hazard, and protects the exposed edge of the flooring on either side of the joint.

Where It’s Used
Comes up most at doorways and room thresholds where flooring changes — laminate into a tiled kitchen, vinyl into a hallway, that kind of transition. Works the same in homes, offices, or retail spaces.

Fitting
Cuts to length with the same tools you’d use on the flooring itself, and goes down once both floor surfaces either side are laid. Worth double-checking the gap width before cutting, since a strip that’s too narrow won’t sit flush and one that’s too wide will rock underfoot.
