Grey wood has a worn, lived-in look that a lot of people go for, but real timber in that tone doesn’t always hold up well around water or heavy foot traffic. Talpa Wood Matt Buxy Gris carries that same weathered grain across a tile instead, so the look sticks around without the maintenance that comes with real wood.
At 60 x 60cm, it’s a familiar size that fits smaller rooms as easily as bigger ones, so there’s less waste when cutting around corners or fittings. It works on both walls and floors too, so the same grey wood-look finish can run straight through a room without switching products halfway.

Where It’s Used
Bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, hallways — anywhere a weathered grey wood look is wanted without real timber’s upkeep.
Fitting
Clean, flat, dry, stable — get the base right first, since any unevenness underneath still shows through a matte finish over time. Use an adhesive suited to the substrate, work out the layout before you start fixing tiles down, keep spacing even with spacers or a levelling system, cut with proper equipment, and give the adhesive its full cure time before grouting.
