An exposed tile edge is usually the first thing to chip — a bag knock, a dropped tool, and there’s a nick right on the corner where everyone can see it. This trim sits over that edge instead, so the PVC takes the impact and the tile underneath stays intact.
Features & Benefits
- Rounded profile, no sharp raw edge left exposed
- PVC construction, holds up to knocks and everyday wear
- Moisture-resistant, fine in wet areas
- Cuts to length with standard tools
Specifications
This is a PVC edge trim with a rounded profile, made for finishing exposed tile edges on both walls and floors. It works with ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile, and holds up on external corners, steps, and other exposed transitions without needing extra sealing.
Where It’s Used
Comes up most on bathroom and kitchen tiling, wet rooms, shower surrounds, and splashbacks — anywhere a tile edge is left exposed rather than butting into another surface. Works the same on new installs and when you’re finishing off a repair.
Fitting
Cuts to length with the same tools you’d use for the tiling itself, and goes in alongside the tile as you work rather than after. Worth measuring your run before cutting, since a trim that’s slightly short at a corner is more noticeable than most other tiling mistakes. Comes through the same suppliers as the rest of our building materials range.
